Our passion is to engage the congregational body with a spiritual connection to Jesus Christ through encouraging, uplifting, joy-filled, passionate and sincere worship of our Lord.

To help support this passion, we use a team culture called the Worship Community that is made up of individuals that have a heart for Jesus, are growing in their personal faith, who call Calvary Chapel Santa Barbara their home church, and have God-given talents to use in His service. This team includes musicians and singers, as well as the audio and media support staffs that are regularly scheduled to serve in our weekly Worship Services.

The Worship Community provides an environment that promotes unity, a servant attitude, openness to new ideas, and growth - both spiritually and in musical skill. Periodically, the Worship Community gathers for a meeting called the Worship Network. This is a get-together planned to encourage one another through devotions aimed at keeping us all focused on worship as a lifestyle, providing a common forum for planning and information flow as we respond to the Lord’s leading of the ministry, and to serve as a regular event that is open to others who want to become involved.
